History & Milestones
1987-1989
With a mechanical engineering degree under his belt, Mr Ashish B. Meghani, found his passion in packaging and started the business trading under the name of “Wrapid Packaging”.
With his driving force and a team of 7 people, Developed and Started manufacturing: Vertical Form Fill Seal Bagger.
1990-1999
- This then took us to a new stage of growth and around 1992, our first international order was exported to Uganda. This was the start of the business looking beyond India’s border and we decided to enter the international market. Having found great success in the overseas market we created a foothold in Sri Lanka and Africa.
- We also got technical expertise from Johnston Lightning Filler Co. Ltd (UK), which helped us improve and upgrade our liquid and paste filling systems.
- Developed and Started manufacturing:
- Vertical Multi-Lane Sachet machine.
- Multi-Lane Stick Pack machine.
2000-2009
- The dawn of a new decade brought with it growth & some major moves. The biggest was we incorporated under the name “Wraptech Machines Pvt. Ltd” and relocated to a 20,000 sq. ft facility in Navi Mumbai.
- The state of the art facility supported in designing & developing our Machines for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Developed and Started manufacturing: Horizontal Flow Wrap.
2010-2019
- With the technical know-how gained over the past few years we saw a number of developments across industries:
- Upgraded our Vertical Form Fill Seal Bagger to a full servo platform for high outputs.
- India’s First Vertical Form Fill Seal Bagger capable of producing a Standup Doy Pouch with Zipper.
- A full wash down Vertical Form Fill Bagger for the Frozen Food Industry
- Nano Filler for Pharmaceutical Pallets & Mini Tablets..
- Introduced shape pouches on our Multi-Lane Sachet machine.
- Introduced Track & Trace System for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
2020-Present
- Started a technical partnership with PostPack S.L. (Spain) we manufacture and market their equipment for the Indian, African, Middle Eastern and Asian Market.
- Developed and Started manufacturing:
- Rigid Container Filling Systems and started offering end to end Rigid Packaging Solutions.
- Horizontal Form Fill Seal machines under a technical collaboration with PostPack S.L. (Spain)
